GRAPHICS

With the Harbor Hawks, I had a lot of creative freedom. I chose to work a lot with Canva, but also played around with photoshop. At Kansas State, as well as at Syracuse, a lot of template work was built out by our Graphic design team, so updating those mid-week, pre-game, mid-game, and post game became a duty of mine.

The Starting Nine Graphic

This was a graphic I created specifically for Instagram and Facebook stories, as well as a pre-game tweet for our Twitter account. I created this on Canva and before each game I would update players, positions, location, and opponent. I created this so that the starting pitcher would have their image in the background and would be labeled on the top, since they are not in the batting lineup.

Game Announcement

I created this graphic to announce our game in Hartford, Connecticut. This game was not on the original Harbor Hawks schedule handed out at the beginning of the season. I posted this graphic a weaken advance so people who wanted to come could plan out their travels. I included the date, time, location, and the team we were playing to this graphics. I also tagged the Cape Cod Baseball League, as well as the opposing player so they could have the opportunity to repost this content onto their own pages.

Score graphic

This was a mock-up graphic I created to post after games that we won. I created it so that it would be easy to change out the picture as well as the opposing team and the score. I would tag each player that was in the picture as well as the photographer who took the picture. This would be posted on Facebook as well as Instagram.

Little Miss…

The “Little Miss” posts had recently gone viral on Instagram stories. This was an opportunity for the team to jump on this trend. I created several graphics to go along with specific players, but also one to show that we are still the #1 team in the league. I was able to create these before another team could hop on the trend and the overall response to these was very good. We had a large reach on this post and many players reposted these onto their own accounts.

Score Graphic pt. 2

Templates are created by our Graphic Designer, but it was my responsibility to edit all information in game. I would change the opponent per game, the photo, as well as the score and post these to their designated social platforms. At Syracuse, we had this score template for the sport’s account, and a sponsorship graphic to go out on our main channels that I was also in charge of.

Sponsorship Graphic

This is one of many sponsorship graphics I was in charge of on game days. Another template built out by our Graphic Designer. Keeping up with stats, and making sure to highlight the current player of the game. At times, this could be a challenging graphic to post depending on how the game is going. It was a judgment call to post this early on in the game, or save it for later.
