Hello!

My name is Emily Lang and I am originally from Dallas, Texas. In 2023 I graduated from Kansas State University. I earned my degree in strategic communications while also earning a minor in Spanish. I played sports my entire life up until college. When I realized I would never play at the next level, I knew it would have to become my career path. At Kansas State, it was a requirement for students in the Journalism and Communications school to have an internship to graduate. In the summer of 2022, I packed my bags and moved to Hyannis, MA for the summer to inter with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, a team in the Cae Cod baseball League. The returning school year, I immediately got in contact with Kansas State Athletics to inquire about an internship. I held the first social media internship with Kansas State Athletics and grew within my social media experience. After graduation, I received an offer from Syracuse University. I am currently the Digital Strategy and Content Coordinator under David Gunn.
